On June 3, at the NY Orange County Legislature chambers, County Executive Edward Diana read a proclamation declaring May 15

through June 15 as Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month.

TSA Youth Ambassador Ethan Kempner shared with the Orange County Legislators his personal experiences and received a standing ovation!
 
Jocelyn Figueroa, an Orange County resident, a parent of a child with TS, a TSA-NYHV Board member and a special Ed. Teacher,

spoke to the Legislators about the importance of increasing awareness of Tourette and how to deal with it, especially in schools.
